JACKSON, MICHIGAN | November 5, 2026 – Harvest Solar today announced that Lucas Olinyk will assume the role of Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately.
Mark Olinyk, who founded and led the company over the past 16 years, is retiring from his role as CEO and transitioning into an advisory role, where he will continue to support Harvest Solar as the company moves into its next chapter.
Since its founding, Harvest Solar has grown from a family-led vision into a solar provider serving customers throughout the Midwest. Mark’s leadership has helped shape the company’s growth, culture, and commitment to delivering energy solutions that support customers’ long-term goals.
“Building this business from zero over the last 16 years has been a journey of a lifetime not only for me but for our family. Our vision has scaled into a market-leading solar provider for the Midwest, far surpassing anything we initially set out to build. As I have announced my retirement from CEO there is no one better equipped to lead this company into the future than our son Lucas, whose balance and capability will take our operations beyond the next level. As I transition into an advisory role I am excited to watch from the sidelines while he takes the helm as Harvest Solar’s CEO. Lucas has been part of Harvest Solar since its early days and has held leadership positions across the company, including Vice President of Engineering, Vice President of Sales and Marketing, and President. His experience across engineering, business development, and company strategy provides continuity as Harvest Solar enters its next chapter.
