This is a sales position for residential solar in Illinois. Sales Consultant is responsible for learning the product, becoming an expert on the technology and the industry, learning the finance options offered, educating the customer on the product and benefits of solar, following up in a timely fashion, taking sales appointments on all days but Sunday, and successfully closing deals to meet goals. Sales Coordinator will answer to the Residential Sales Director and be responsible for managing and maintaining customer pipeline in company CRM. Must be comfortable meeting with and presenting to customers in their own home.

Job Duties (include but not limited to):

• Accurately walk customers through the process of going solar

• Perform detailed site assessments taking pictures and notes based on site-specific situation

• Learn the products and become an expert in the technical aspect of this sale • Close deals at an acceptable close rate using company-directed methods, dealing with customer objections and overcoming hurdles

• Multitask and handle several opportunities at once, each at several stages

• Effectively use the company Sales CRM as directed by management

• Fill out and hand in appropriate deal paperwork

• Day-travel up to 75% • Occasional overnight travel

• Continuous training and self-improvement activity

• Maintaining a clean driving record

• Fluent in Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Office, Excel, etc.)

• Team player

• 2+ Years solar sales experience (preferred)

• Experience with customer service (preferred)

• Always expected to look polished, presentable and be professional

$30,000 per year plus commission
