The city of Ann Arbor is investing into a 64 kW solar panel unit on Fire Station 6’s roof. Fire Station 6 near Briarwood Mall is poised to become the first city facility in Ann Arbor to come close to being “net zero,” meaning the array will meet almost all of the building’s energy needs, said Missy Stults, the city’s sustainability office manager. The project will be completed by none other than Harvest Solar! #fire #rescue #firefighters
